Three steps. Then back to creating.
Set up each Mac separately. Your account follows you; local folder paths belong to the device.
- 01
Run Setup on your Mac
Download and unzip the package, then open NeverAnchored Einrichten.app. Setup installs the extension and its local file service.
Current preview build: locally signed, not Apple-notarized. macOS may block the first launch. If that happens, contact the workspace owner before continuing. No security settings are changed by Setup.
- 02
Load it into Chrome
Open Chrome → Extensions → Manage Extensions. Enable Developer mode, choose Load unpacked and select the folder below.
~/Library/Application Support/NeverAnchored Workflow/ExtensionIn the folder chooser, press ⌘ + ⇧ + G to paste this path.
- 03
Make it your workspace
Open NeverAnchored Settings, sign in and select your brand. Under Setup, check Chrome access and review your working folders.
Choose a base folder, preview the proposed paths, then confirm. Existing mappings stay in place. Files are never moved by the setup assistant.

KEEP YOUR WORKFLOW CURRENT
New release.
Same workspace.
In the extension, go to Settings → Setup → Updates. Check for a release and review its notes before downloading.
The assistant verifies the package and opens Setup through macOS. Finish Setup, then click Reload on the extension in Chrome and reload your open website and Naming tabs.
Finish active downloads and file operations before updating. Chrome is never restarted automatically.

Package integrity
Downloads come from this NeverAnchored installation site. The update assistant checks the package size, SHA-256, app signature, version and fixed extension identity before opening Setup.
The release feed is authenticated by HTTPS. A SHA-256 checksum is an integrity check, not an Apple notarization or an independent publisher signature.

Run Setup on that Mac, add the extension to Chrome and sign in with the invited account. If your workflow uses Google Drive for desktop, make the shared folders available locally before connecting them.
For existing installations, you can also download the current Setup package here and run it again. Your account, credentials and folder mappings are preserved.
